CDC has a very natural, life-like movement underwater and is on countless flies that are top producers. It also makes this fly ideal for dead-drifting or swinging like a typical soft hackle fly.
I tie this on a standard length barbless jig hook OR 1x short wide-gape barbless jig for a fly that will increase hook-ups and ride point up to significantly reduce snags.
