A hare's ear version of what has become an extremely popular and standard Euro nymph pattern. This fly features an irresistible fluorescent orange tag, a hare's mask abdomen, tinsel ribbing, a copper-colored tungsten bead and a CDC collar to create some natural movement. This tinsel material is counter-wrapped with tippet material in order to increase durability while remaining virtually invisible.
These flies are tied on barbless, black nickel finished, standard length jig hooks OR barbless, black nickel finished, 1x short, wide gape jig hooks. These hooks ride point up greatly reducing the risk of snagging and are far less stressful on fish during removal.
