This classic stone pattern has been producing extremely well for decades. A classic design, this fly is made almost exclusively from natural materials. With a gold brass bead and as much lead free wire as I can fit on the underbody, this fly will sink quickly. The abdomen is made from peacock herls counter-wrapped with ultra wire. The thorax is thickly dubbed natural hare dubbing for some added bugginess. The Hungarian partridge legs are covered with a wing case of mottled turkey tail. A classic stone that gets a ton of hits.
