This is inspired by Craven's JuJubee Midge - one of the most trusted western midge patterns. The body is made from adjacent, wound fibers of Wapsi supreme hair creating the ribbing and abdomen together. It is a spot on imitation and has landed me some of my nicest fish in the Winter. An ample supply of these and the epoxied Baetis version in a variety of colors in sizes #20 and #22 will make for a great day on the water.
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES: while this is only listed in sizes #18-#22, I can tie this up to size #14. Sizes #14 and #16 will have a slotted tungsten bead rather than a regular tungsten bead. #14-20 will be on barbless, black nickel scud hooks. #22 are barbed bronze scud hooks.
