This streamlined nymph is a Perdigon version of Olsen's popular tag nymph. Featuring flashy, tinsel ribbing, a black body, Coq d' Leon tail, and a large orange hotspot. With a very slim profile and tungsten bead, this fly gets down into the water column. This attention-grabbing Euro nymph is a great anchor fly in larger sizes or a perfect dropper in smaller sizes.
These flies are tied on barbless, black nickel finished, standard length jig hooks OR barbless, black nickel finished, 1x short, wide gape jig hooks. These hooks ride point up greatly reducing the risk of snagging and are far less stressful on fish during removal.
