This fly features a tail made from Coq d' Leon saddle, a hot spot butt with glo-brite floss, a thread abdomen with silver wire ribbing, and a thin coating of epoxy resin for durability and shine. A UV ice dubbing collar imitates the thorax, and a silver tungsten bead finishes this effective nymph.
These flies are tied on barbless, black nickel finished, standard length jig hooks OR barbless, black nickel finished, 1x short, wide gape jig hooks. These hooks ride point up greatly reducing the risk of snagging and are far less stressful on fish during removal.
