This versatile Euro nymph can easily pass for a stonefly, mayfly and other common insects that fish will key in on. Effectively fished in tandem or solo, dead-drifted or swung downstream. It features a tail of amber goose biots, a rusty brown abdomen with copper wire ribbing, a UV rusty brown thorax and a golden CDC collar that will trigger strikes.
These flies are tied on barbless, black nickel finished, standard length jig hooks OR barbless, black nickel finished, 1x short, wide gape jig hooks. These hooks ride point up greatly reducing the risk of snagging and are far less stressful on fish during removal.
